ABOUT CRISTIN MOWRER

I started my career in construction right out of college having never been to a job site before. I was drawn to Allan Myers because of their culture. The leadership. The people. The mindset. The passion for excellence. The emphasis on growth and development. 20 years later, I am still here. Why? Because of the same things that brought me in in the first place. I came in as an inexperienced field engineer. Spent years working on a project team, learning the industry, soaking up everything I could. I even spent 6 months working as a laborer on a crew to get first hand training on what it takes to build the work. I quickly felt like part of the family. A contributor on the team. We build projects that make communities better and I get to be a part of that!I am a person who thrives on being part of a team. On working together to achieve success. I played sports as a kid, I am competitive as you can get, and I love to have fun in everything I do. I serve the greater good. I do whatever it takes in whatever role I am needed it to get the W. Over the years I have had the opportunity to step up (and across) to various roles at Allan Myers. These roles allowed me to contribute to special projects, move forward initiatives within the organization. Sometimes it was uncomfortable. Did I ever think I would become a data nerd? No, but I learned a ton, met a lot of people, found success for the team and had a bunch of fun doing it! Now, I get to use my experience and my connections to help others find that same feeling. I actively work to bring the next group of talented, hardworking people into this Allan Myers team that I have grown up in. It\'s awesome and invigorating to see something in someone that fits! My new passion isn\'t centered on building that new road or bridge but on building someone\'s career.
