ABOUT CRISTIANO OCCHIPINTI

Cristiano Occhipinti’s professional profile is based on an extensive work experience in Health Care Business Development and Biotechnology Research projects. Cristiano Occhipinti is the Director of the UPMC Italy Business Development Programs Support Department, based in Rome. The Department is in charge of implementing the business development strategy of the International Services Division in Italy and in Europe. Cristiano Occhipinti provides operational and strategic support in developing the activates carried out at the IRCCS Istituto Mediterraneo per i Trapianti e le Terapie ad Alta Specializzazione (ISMETT) in Sicily, the UPMC San Pietro FBF Advanced Radiotherapy Center in Rome and the UPMC Institute of Health Chianciano Terme in Tuscany. He assists in the sourcing, management and implementation of new projects related to health care, information and communications technology and biotechnology research for UPMC Italy and UPMC’s international initiatives. He further cooperates with the Director of International Marketing Communications with corporate communication activities, fund raising and relationships with National and European Institutions and other Private or Public organizations.
