About Cristian Morataya
I’m a fourth year Computer Engineering student with an interest in embedded systems and practical problem solving. I’ve worked with C, C++ and Arduino on embedded projects, as well as C# and Python for software development. My professional experience includes internships with Lenovo, Polaris Inc. and Cummins Inc, where I’ve contributed to both hardware-focused and software-focused projects.On campus, I’m involved with SHPE (Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers) as the Membership Director, where I help plan events, track student involvement and support engagement across the RIT chapter. These experiences, combined with my engineering work, have shaped my interest in learning how things work and using that knowledge to create products that have a real-world impact.
