As an experienced business and nonprofit professional, I bring a culmination of two+ decades building and enhancing skills for successful philanthropy work. In the nonprofit world, I have experience in several areas of fundraising including board engagement, major gifts and corporate solicitation and stewardship, donor database management, event management, and donor communications. I participated in Strategic Planning and created Case Statements and Fund Development Plans to advance strategies for fundraising. In the business sector, I earned my real estate broker\'s license and solicited $21 million in real property sales in 10 years with 70% coming from my 200-person prospect portfolio. As a tenacious, results-oriented professional, I built my business by cultivating relationships with individuals from diverse community groups, sitting on nonprofit boards, door-knocking in a variety of neighborhoods, cold-calling homeowners, and presenting 30+ educational seminars while acquiring the essential transferable skill sets required in fundraising: relationship building and business development. Additionally, I received my Professional Certificate in Fundraising and Development from the University of California San Diego Extended Studies.
