I am a Principal (Partner without a CPA) in Deloitte’s Cyber practice. Throughout my career, I have specialized in privacy and data protection and have extensive experience identifying requirements and developing protection strategies for private, confidential and sensitive data throughout its life cycle. In particular, I have deep knowledge of DLP, CASB, data discovery and data classification technologies. I have assisted numerous large, global organizations in implementing and assessing their strategies, system deployments and programs to protect both unstructured and structured data. In addition, I have executed security and privacy assessments relating to PCI DSS, ISO 17799/27001, COBIT, GLBA, HIPAA, and the EU Data Protection Directive among numerous other standards, laws and regulations. I have also delivered approximately 80 SAS 70/SSAE 16 engagements for investment management and information technology service providers and have experience identifying, evaluating and testing both business cycle and information technology security controls in a wide variety of environments.In my free time I enjoy skiing, golfing and attending sporting events of almost any kind.
