ABOUT CRISHA C.
Crisha Carlos is the first COSO fellow. She is currently a Manager of Internal Controls at Ross Stores Inc, overseeing the design, implementation, and monitoring of internal controls to ensure financial accuracy and regulatory compliance. Crisha was previously a Risk Consulting Supervisor at RSM US LLP, where she advised clients on the performance of risk assessments, design of key controls to mitigate risks, and lead clients through remediation plans to relieve identified control deficiencies, significant deficiencies, and material weaknesses. Crisha has experience in preparing quarterly and annual external financial reports, including those filed with the Securities and Exchange Committee (SEC) and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance.Prior to entering the industry, she previously practiced public accounting for three years focused on the following industries: financial institutions, not-for-profit organizations, and real estate investment companies. She has experience performing audit and review engagements, drafting financial statements, supervising team members, and maintaining client relationships for clients with equity/net assets of $2M to $3B.Crisha graduated Cum Laude from Dominican University of California’s Barowsky School of Business with concurring degrees in Business Administration, concentration in Accounting, and Political Science, concentration in American Politics, and a minor in Leadership Studies.
