    In April 2023, Cardio Bio was acquired by Paragraf, who revolutionized the graphene electronic device manufacturing with its pioneering scalable approach, making it the worlds’ first company to achieve this feat. Post-acquisition (Apr’23 to Present):• Reduced time of month-end close to a 3-day process to support the integration of Finance teams immediately after acquisition.• Implemented acquirer’s ERP, Microsoft Dynamics BC, as a 2-month project saving $70K annually and seamless integration.• Drafted purchase accounting journal entries for acquirer’s accounting team leading to a successful FY’23 audit. • Creates and provides monthly financial reporting package including account reconciliations and budget to actual variances.Cardea Bio Pre-acquisition (Dec’21 to Apr’23):The world’s only mass producer of biocompatible semiconductors, the BPU™ (Biosignal Processing Unit) biocompatible semiconductor technology used for applications across a variety of sectors including human health, agriculture, molecular diagnostics, biotechnology, environmental monitoring, and animal health.• Raised ~$1.5M by furthering the 4th Series-A round, extending cash runway by 3 months. • Completed due diligence requests from acquirer by liaising with the CEO and COO; addressed queries on key accounting procedures leading to the sale of Cardea Bio.• Generated data visibility for senior leadership by providing metrics on Cardea’s financial position in quarterly board meetings. Designed dashboards, 13-week cash flow projections, and monthly operational review templates.• Forwarded HR activities by maintaining and tracking employee data in TriNet, including payroll, work hours, PTO, and salary adjustments. Supervised equity administration using Carta.• Drove the execution of annual audits as well as tax filings in coordination with external tax accountants.• Identified budget variances of R&D projects for partners by delivering a monthly report to the project management team.
