As our product management process matures, one of the big successes has been the incorporation of more rigorous financial discipline into the prioritization of our new products.Mergers and Acquisitions: I have been involved in M&A activities both on the buyer side and on the seller side, including the 925 million dollar sale of Gatan to Ametek in 2019. Pre-acquisition I was part of the team pitching the sale to potential buyers. Post-acquisition I was part of the team that transitioned Gatan into the new organization. I continue to craft strategic and financial proposals for future acquisitions.
