ABOUT CRAYMAN HARVEY
I work with jails and detention centers leaders to stabilize their operations, strengthen compliance, and build healthier institutional cultures. My work focuses on modern jail leadership, policy development, and the systems that keep a facility safe, accountable, and aligned with standards. My background includes serving as a Director responsible for a full-service detention center, managing daily operations, staffing, budgets, compliance, critical incidents, and culture change. Those experiences shaped the Harvey Stabilization Model — a practical, leadership-driven framework that helps agencies solve recurring problems using real data and strong accountability systems. Through Harvey Consulting, I partner with sheriffs, jail administrators, and county leaders to improve: Policy modernization (ACA, NCCHC, PREA, state standards) Staffing, relief factor assessments, and operational workflows Incident management and risk reduction Classification, housing strategy, and contraband control Leadership coaching for supervisors and command staff Culture repair and organization-wide stabilization. My goal is simple: help correctional leaders fix what’s broken, build what works, and create facilities that are safe for staff and those in custody. If you oversee a jail or detention center and want support with operations, compliance, or leadership development, feel free to reach out. I’m always open to a conversation.
