ABOUT CRAWFORD POUNDS

Crawford served as the managing partner of PwC’s Charlotte office from 2014 to December 2023. In this role, he lead a team of more than experienced PwC professionals in applying an innovative mindset to help drive the right business outcomes for our clients. Crawford previously served as managing partner of our Carolinas and Southeast markets; led the Assurance practice in the Carolinas; and served as the leader for the Carolinas products and services team. Crawford began his career in Birmingham, Alabama and relocated to our New York Metro practice for nine years before moving to Charlotte. In addition to Crawford’s leadership roles, he continues to oversee a number of key client relationships across the Southeast. He also has broad experience in several industries, including pharmaceuticals, health services, retail, consumer products, industrial manufacturing and technology. An active leader in the community, Crawford is committed to helping drive change both in the Charlotte community and across the business sector. He is or has been a board member for numerous civic and community organizations including Read Charlotte, YMCA of Greater Charlotte, Reading is Fundamental, the Charlotte Mecklenburg Library Foundation and the Wake Forest Charlotte Executive Board. He has also previously served on PwC’s National Diversity, Policy and Society Task Force. A graduate of The University of Alabama with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting, Crawford is a member of the AICPA and the NCACPA and holds a CPA license in Alabama and North Carolina.
