ABOUT CRANSTON GAWIN COKE
Currently studying Public Service and Policy & Sociology at the University of Washington, where I concentrate on housing justice, urban development, poverty, and inequality. I engage in numerous community-based organizations on and off campus, bringing in knowledge of local contexts and perspectives of lived experiences along the way. My dedication to community building through informed public service has helped me to be recognized as a 2025 Jackson-Munro Fellow. In my work leading clubs, conducting research, and getting experience on the ground, I am grateful to have upgraded my skills in teamwork and adaptability, as well as writing, communicating, and dynamic management. Recently, I have been participating in research with the UW Department of Sociology, studying inclusivity and the interaction between marginalized groups and ability to access public goods.I highly value versatile leadership, constructive relationship-building, and a challenging but informative environment to learn and grow. I am currently seeking opportunities in: research, data analysis, local government administration, policy implementation, and development!
