About Craig Wolf
I have been in the IT industry 30+ years. I have worked with most anything that connects into a data port for a network during my career. I had the awesome opportunity to be a reviewer for the “LPI Linux Certification in a Nutshell: 3rd Edition” book in 2010. I finished my Dual MBA degrees at Colorado Technical University early in 2021. I am a VERY proud supporter of Open Source software and an official in the Omaha Linux User Group (OLUG). I spent 10 years in the Air Force learning the basics of networking and programming before stepping out into the world of education. I had the pleasure to work for Millard Public Schools as the only Desktop/Network Technician on the 25-person team for 12 years. I was an upper level support person for issues that would arise around the district as well as in charge of the helpdesk and backups for the school district. I recently left the position of the Director of Technology for Heartland Family Service (HFS). I have worked for them from 20••••21. I got to spend a great deal of time working with my vendors to make sure the funds allocated to IT go as far as possible to extend the capabilities for the HFS family. I helped transform the IT team into a customer-focused group helping to make IT easier for the staff. I brought the visibility of IT up to the highest levels of the agency to help everyone understand what is possible or not possible. My team has done amazing things and continue to try to improve things daily! What I found most rewarding is working with people. I want to take the Technology side of things and break it down into something YOU will understand. I want to find a way to help make the technology accomplish what YOU want it to do, if that is possible. When problems arise, and they will, I want to find a middle ground where we all can succeed. It is possible if everyone understands that we are trying to work together and not against each other.
