About Craig Wingerson

Learning professional and storyteller for two of America’s most recognized properties: the United States Capitol building & the Walt Disney World ResortAs a training specialist with the federal government at the Architect of the Capitol in Washington DC, I currently serve Congress by leading the training work at the Capitol Visitor Center. I’m surrounded by amazing stories, literally walking in the footsteps of over 220 years of American history. As a leader with the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida for 21 years, I facilitated and designed training around Walt Disney\'s core operational philosophies and his foundational ideas of Guest service, leadership, empathy, and teamwork.I use storytelling to teach diverse audiences, inspiring and motivating my participants to perform at a higher level.I have facilitated service and leadership classes to over participants in both large and small groups, for both hourly and salaried audiences.At the US Capitol I designed and facilitated a complete onboarding program for all new staff at the Visitor Center, including Visitor Guides, Visitor Assistant, Retail, leadership, and operations positions. I am a certified Gallup Strengths Coach as well as a certified Interpretive Guide, Host, and Trainer through the National Association for Interpretation.At Walt Disney World, my accomplishments include the design, development, and delivery of content for over 25 different openings and re-openings across Walt Disney World in ride and show operations, entertainment, merchandise, food & beverage, custodial, housekeeping, front office, concierge, bell services, and recreation.In 2004, I received the Partners in Excellence award, Walt Disney World’s lifetime achievement award, honoring work in serving Guests, serving fellow teammates, and focusing on business results.
