Engineering Manager / Head of Software and Software Profession Lead experience (5+years) My previous experience as a Software Engineer and Developer involved me working in many industries. I have experienced and implemented software on many diverse projects over these years. A chartered engineer and volunteer mentor with the IET.I have been fortunate enough to have worked on all aspects of software development, from embedded systems using embedded C on multiple processor platforms through to Windows development in C++/C#/WPF/MVC & Web Development (Full project lifecycle/HTML/CSS/JavaScript).Technical skills that enable me to work in a team or on my own to bring small, medium or large software projects from concept to completion. Using multiple project management approaches from rapid development, AGILE or pair programming through to V model or Waterfall methodology and delivering to many coding standards in many languages. I am a fast learner and good communicator.I am formerly a qualified UK Athletics Coach In Running Fitness, the former Captain and Coach for my local running Club (3 years experience) and have been the Event Director for Gainsborough\'s parkrun. I am focused and goal driven with my running, willing to do what it takes to achieve my running goals and I\'m always available to help athletes achieve their goals to.
