About Craig Schaefges

Certified Workday Integration Manager / Consultant working with a diverse group of clients over the last 6 years, helping clients to maximize their investment in Workday, configuring new integrations, and providing production support services. I work with all integrations, including Studio, Connectors, RaaS reports and APIs.Formerly I was a technical service delivery lead that has been working on PeopleSoft HR/HCM for 16 years. I have experience in the US Payroll, Core HR, Learning Management and Tree Manager modules. I have been involved in building custom bolt on modules for PeopleSoft, and 5 large scale application upgrades. I have been technical leads for large projects, including a PeopleSoft HR 7.5 to 8.0 and 8.0 to 9.0 upgrades, a DB2 upgrade from 8.2 to 9.5 and re-platforming PeopleSoft to new hardware. I have been a project manager for projects including fiscal year reorganizations and hardware upgrades, using established SDLC processes. I currently manage a team of onsite technology analysts and offshore developers to deliver high quality technical solutions for HR BPO clients on a highly customized version of PeopleSoft.

   Working in the Alight HR and Financial Solutions area, I manage teams of Workday Integration Managers and consultants to provide Workday integration support for Workday clients. In this role I am responsible for:• Manage a team of Integration Managers and work with them so they are able to deliver value to their clients, and their clients are able to get the most out of their Workday investments.• Working with my clients to determine their needs for their Workday integrations, and work with them to submit change requests for new work that needs to be completed. Resource plan to make sure we have the proper resource available to complete the work per the client\'s timelines.• Provide production support for existing integrations, and resolve any job failures.• Manage the workload with the client and internal leadership. Strive to keep the clients happy with our services and work with them to meet all of their needs.• Complete change request and production support tasks as needed. Continue to use my Workday integration certification and continue to build up my Workday integration knowledge and skills.
