WORK HISTORY
Director, Product Design @Strata Research
Kitchener, ON, CA
I joined Strata as their Director of Product Design after initially collaborating with them on a contract basis during my free time. In my first year with Strata, I had the pleasure of bringing two products from concept to launch and I have actively contributed to shaping the company\'s direction by participating in weekly leadership meetings. Additionally I\'m proud to have helped secure contracts that significantly impacted the company\'s success, while also diving into various high-level projects for our clients. At Strata, I\'ve had the chance to not only enhance my design skills but also broaden my expertise beyond design. I\'ve delved into user research and become adept at presenting findings in a way that resonates with stakeholders. It\'s been an enriching journey, and I\'m excited to continue growing and contributing to Strata\'s success.

ABOUT CRAIG REIDEL
I’m a product design leader with over 25 years of experience designing software across startups, scale-ups, and large enterprise organizations.I focus on clarity and outcomes. That usually means getting close to users early, running proper discovery, and making sure teams are solving the right problems before development starts. I’ve led work end to end, from research and story mapping through flows, wireframes, prototyping, design systems, and validation with real users.I currently lead product design at Strata Research, working closely with product, engineering, and leadership across healthcare, AI, public sector, and enterprise software. Some engagements start as short discovery projects and turn into multi-year partnerships as products move into production and scale.I’m comfortable leading design teams, partnering closely with developers, or working hands-on as the sole designer when that’s what the situation requires. I’m pragmatic, direct, and realistic about constraints, timelines, and tradeoffs.
