ABOUT CRAIG DENNIS

Craig Dennis K.C. is a commercial litigator in Vancouver, British Columbia widely recognized for his Dispute Resolution expertise. The Chambers Canada guide places Craig in Band 1 for commercial litigation in British Columbia. Benchmark has recognized Craig as one of the top 50 trial lawyers in Canada and as Litigator of the year for British Columbia in 2024 and 2025. Best Lawyers named Craig Lawyer of the Year for Bet-the-Company litigation in Vancouver. Craig also has been recognized by Lexpert for commercial litigation and class actions. Craig’s practice focuses on complex commercial litigation in such areas as product liability, professional liability and shareholder disputes. Craig acts for a wide range of businesses and appears before all levels of court in British Columbia, as well as before the Federal Court and the Supreme Court of Canada. He has also appeared before courts or tribunals in Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick and Newfoundland and Labrador. Craig is a fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, the International Society of Barristers and the Litigation Counsel of America and a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. An author and speaker for Continuing Legal Education, Craig has published a number of papers on a variety of topics including the admissibility of scientific evidence and privilege. Craig teaches trial advocacy at the University of British Columbia’s Faculty of Law. He is also a member of the editorial board of the Canadian Class Action Review. Craig is a founding partner of Dennis Dawson James Aitken LLP. He began his career as a judicial law clerk at the Supreme Court of Canada.
