About Craig Miller

I am the Conservation & Planning Division Manager for Aarcher Consulting. I have 30 years of natural resource experience specializing in the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), endangered species, wildlife, and wetlands. I spent the early part of my career working in wildlife field research, land management, and federal regulations with the US Fish and Wildlife Service. This experience has given me a realistic perspective on the interaction of the regulatory world, land management, and science, which has proved invaluable as a consultant. I have served as project manager, task manager, resource expert and editor in preparation of numerous NEPA documents for land use planning, transportation, energy, water, and natural resource management. I have substantial experience preparing several resource management plans (RMPs) for the US Bureau of Land Management (BLM). I also have significant experience working with threatened and endangered species nationally. I have also conducted numerous endangered species and wetland habitat evaluations, conducted wetland delineations, drafted Section 404 permit applications, and conducted wildlife research. My clients have included the National Park Service; BLM; Bureau of Reclamation; Corps of Engineers; several DOTs, municipalities, and land developers.
