Supporting the European Automotive Car manufacturers & Tier 1s for WiFi, Bluetooth/BLE and embedded security chipsets including V2x. Particular focus on in-car Infotainment, Telematics, Phone as a Key, BMS and TPMS applications, while trying to keep the finger on the pulse of emerging automotive applications, such as Ultra-Wide-Band (UWB).

Now at Infineon Technologies. The number One Automotive Semi-conductor company in the World. Infineon has an incredible culture and a very loyal Automotive customer base, so when I was approached via LinkedIn it was an amazing opportunity to work with the entire Automotive Eco-system. I love working with emerging technology and have done so from an early age. A ZX81 home computer as a Christmas present in 1981 was a springboard to doing a software degree. Eventually fulfilling a dream of working with the mighty Microsoft in their prime. Later I was a pioneer in Virtual Reality and co-founded a VR Development Studio when Occulus Rift was still in Beta. Apart from that most of my career has been spent around Semi-conductors. I now spend my time enabling the Automotive Data Highway of the future for European car manufacturers with Infineon wireless and security chipsets. Combining Automotive technology trends and networking I started a LinkedIn group for like-minded people to share news about Global Emerging Automotive Technology. If that sounds interesting, please click and request to join- I started working in Automotive infotainment in 2006 and have witnessed some incredible technology changes from Pioneer radios with knobs and buttons and a cheap $2 LCD to Garmin Sat Navs (powered from lighter sockets) to fully integrated digital cockpits with 50 inch displays and Spotify, CarPlay, Waze and (Over-the-air) OTA updates. My biggest achievement though is being a Dad to 5 great children (everyone very different). To relax, I love nothing more than watching a James Bond movie, exploring temples and ancient ruins or entering a pub quiz. I am completely hooked on all kinds of history and get a real buzz from travelling and tasting the local food and absorbing myself in the local culture. Asian food is normally my go to when eating out and Indonesian is my absolute favourite.
