Currently a Postmaster / Company Director. Operating a Mains Model Post Office on behalf of Post Office Limited Within the Lancashire area. In addition to the main office my branch is also a core site operating 18 Hosted Outreach Offices which run between 2 and 18 hours per week with a total of 83 serving hours per week. providing a vital community link across the most rural areas of North West England.As of 2021 I am the largest outreach operator in the Post Office Network. Throughout my offices I provide the full range of Post Office services including Royal Mail Items, a full bureau de change, Passport Check & Send, Document Verification Service, Parcelforce Worldwide, DVLA including Driving Licence Renewals, Moneygram, Western Union, Amazon, DPD & Evri Products, Drop & Go, Sales of Philatelic items, Bill Payments, Post Office Money financial Services products and access to Banking. My Main Branch enables me to further promote Post Office products and services and meet customers needs via the sale of financial services products. The retail aspect of the business stocks a wide variety of Stationery, Greetings Cards, Vapes, Wool, Toys & Games along with Gift items as well acting as a dry cleaning agent for Village Dry Cleaners based in Tarleton.• In 2020 my business was nominated as a regional finalist for the Countryside Alliance Awards commonly known as the Rural Oscars.• Since January 2022 I have also been undertaking contracting work for Post Office Limited. By delivering training and improving competency to other Postmasters in the North West Region.• In 2023 I was named North of England Champion in the Village Shop/Post Office category in the Countryside Alliance awards. • As of April 23 my office has been selected as one of the first 100 in the country to offer Evri services. •In July 23 my branch had a Teller Cash Recycler (TCR) installed to assist in processing automation at the time there was only 43 TCR’s in service within the network.
