ABOUT CRAIG DUN
One thing I’ve learned in 13 years of carbon accounting: it\'s far too confusing for businesses. Many don’t know where to start or what it really means. For many, a fancy platform won’t fix that. My role is to give clear advice and produce honest, transparent carbon reports.Carbon accounting can be simple. Yet I often see leaders:• Drowning in scattered data across invoices, spreadsheets, and emails.• Unsure where to begin or who internally can help.• Frustrated by carbon software that over-promises and under-delivers.• Lost in consultancy reports that hide methods behind black boxes.Carbon reporting is becoming essential for businesses of all sizes. With mandatory disclosure on the horizon, many still don’t know what to measure—or how to report credibly. It doesn’t have to be that way.I’ve worked with governments, small firms, and global brands to make carbon reporting straightforward and credible—the first real step on any low-carbon journey. Here’s how I help: Clarify what matters – Identify exactly what it is you want to achieve and why. Set your emissions boundary – Define what’s in and out of scope, ensuring it\'s aligned with best practice. Find and structure your data – Build strong data foundations; carbon management starts with good data. Calculate emissions transparently – Every assumption, emission factor and method is shared, following global standards—no black boxes. Produce clear, defensible reports – Ready for internal or external use. Guide practical next steps – Focus on actions that actually reduce emissions and find that balance between realism and ambition when it comes to setting targets.Feeling ambitious? I also support SBTi planning, net-zero strategies, SECR reporting, and low-carbon modeling. The result: a credible, transparent carbon report tailored to your organisation. You’ll understand your footprint as well as I do.Recent work includes: Holland Cooper – Completed their first SECR filing. Havas Media Group – Verified baseline emissions and modeled reductions. Foot Anstey – Annual corporate footprint and SBTi goal setting. Scottish Government – Lead the analysis of 180+ public sector climate change reports annually since 2016. Diginex/HSBC Carbon Accelerator – Trained HSBC clients across the Middle East on carbon management. If this sounds like what you need, book a meeting using the button above—or just send me a message.CraigP.S. My cat Luci often appears in online meetings. If that seals the deal, even better.
