About Craig Bomben

I have over 30 years of aircraft test and evaluation experience in the US and Canadian military, NASA and Boeing Aircraft. I completed 16 years of active duty service and 13 years reserve duty within the United States Navy where I acted as the commanding officer in 4 commands. I was promoted into an Executive position with Boeing in 2010 and in 2015 promoted to the Vice President of Flight Operations and Company Chief Pilot. In this capacity I have oversight of all Boeing commercial and military world wide flight operations and crews. I am currently rated in all Boeing commercial models, the T38, T-33 and have recently added a Helicopter rating to my license. I also run the Design Build and Supply Chain Management function for BT & E. My team designs all lab and flight test specific parts for our developmental and certification programs. All instrumentation and flight test hardware is designed and built or bought with the help of our supplier management team. I manage a machine shop and very advanced Rapid Additive Manufacturing group that works with both polymers and metals to produce the parts once the decision to build is made.
