ABOUT CRAIG ALLISON

Any production is a complex and multi-layered process where technical duties cannot limit good energy professionals. That’s why I always put emphasis on organisation, planning, and observation. Renewable Energy allows me to develop and implement new workable technological solutions for process optimisation. During my master\'s studies, I am an active participant in both the research stage for a preliminary assessment of the task and the entire process of subsequent production and monitor the accuracy of the implementation process. From a young age working on my family’s farm, I always possessed a practical outlook in terms of solving problems. Throughout my life, I have developed this art of being able to apply a strong skill set that has led me to be an innovative quick learner that adds tremendous value to any organization. I have always had a strong interest in both business and engineering, and I feel that working in this industry would combine my passions in a perfect way.After receiving my degree in Mechanical Engineering with Renewables, I am currently pursuing an MSc in at Heriot-Watt University majoring in Renewable Energy Engineering. A common thread throughout my studies has been the diligent and methodical approach I employ. I am regularly sought out by my peers for input into their projects and was asked for my help and advice to assist them in addressing their problems with wind energy. I have looked at onshore and offshore projects, with the most recent being a floating wind farm concept off the coast of the Isle of Man.Additional Experience:· Working within multi-disciplinary teams of engineers and other technical staff in the completion of due diligence assignments, under the direction and supervision of project managers.· Provide case studies, subject matter expert advice, market research, and information on market trends.· Software proficiency, including Ansys Fluent and Solidworks where I have obtained high results. With all the aforementioned being said, I feel strongly that my analysis skills, along with my passion for the Energy Industry and hard-working mentality would make me a great addition to any organization.
