   Birds-of-prey trainer and Education volunteer, presenting hawks, falcons, owls and vultures to audiences of all ages.• Develop themed presentations focused on city birds, sustainability and biomimicry. Work with teachers/educators to create classroom curriculum to build awareness and respect for wildlife (School “One Book” programs, STEM / STEAM concepts, Sonoran Desert studies). Encourage children to read and get outside.• Mentor new volunteers on these topics and handling techniques so they can present our animals to the public.• Engaged children during Liberty’s summer day camps (2018-’19) on topics including basic birding, drawing with live animal models, and reading. Performed Zoom/Teams video lectures (2020-’21) for several school and adult programs.• Assist with on-site tours and public hours programming, co-edit species natural histories and disseminate current research to volunteers to share with public.• Received Paul L.
