About Craig Tyler

I am an IP litigator, and have handled more than 200 technical cases involving claims of patent infringement, copyright infringement, and trade secret misappropriation, including 14 trials in state and federal courts. I have also served as lead counsel in section 337 litigation before the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC) involving utility patent, design patent, trademark, and copyright claims. Unique among IP litigators, I am comfortable litigating and trying disputes in state or federal courts. In addition to handling federal cases in dozens of jurisdictions, I have also handled many state court actions involving trade secrets, breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty and many other claims in state courts in Texas, California, Utah, Michigan, Oklahoma, and Florida. I also have arbitration experience includes multiple complex arbitrations under and JAMS.Finally, I should add that my priority is understanding my clients and their businesses, and I focus on finding the appropriate solution to my clients\' legal / technical problems, which is not always litigation.
