ABOUT CRAIG SNIDER
I have spent over 28 years in the criminal justice field. During that time I have been a patrol officer, training officer, community oriented police officer (COPS), detective (specializing in financial crimes), background investigator and an internal affairs (I.A.) investigator. Currently I am the Division Commander in Operations. I investigate employee wrong doing, oversee background investigations for potential new hires and regulate and coordinate off duty job assignments for law enforcement officers. I am a 1997 Graduate from Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU) with a Bachelors in Criminal Justice Administration and 2017 graduate from the Southeastern Leadership Academy (SELA). In June 2025, I graduated from the Senior Management Institute for Police taught at Boston University through the Police Executive Research Forum. I am the Vice President of the National Internal Affairs Investigators NIAIA.org.
