   Craig Scranton, a Principal at BNIM Architects, is a leader in understanding how the social, environmental and economic opportunities for projects create value for clients. Having served as a project leader for some of BNIM\'s most complex projects, he has developed an expertise in the design of office buildings and mixed use projects. Craig recently earned his Master of Science in Entrepreneurial Real Estate from the Bloch School of Business at UMKC, one the nation’s leading business schools. As team leader, Craig completed the GSA’s Internal Revenue Service, Kansas City Campus, a sq. ft. facility on a 27-acre site in Kansas City’s urban core. He is currently working on a number of projects including a LEED Platinum low cost housing project with Make it Right, and a number of mixed use development projects. He was also part of the design team for the David & Lucile Packard Foundation in Los Altos, California, where he was instrumental in developing a sustainability matrix. The Packard Matrix, as it became known, continues to help the architectural and construction industries understand how varied levels of sustainable design can impact the environment and business costs throughout the life of a building, beginning with initial construction.
