ABOUT CRAIG S. MELNICK

Craig S. Melnick is a Partner, Senior Vice President, and Senior Account Executive responsible for servicing large and complex national accounts with USI. Prior to joining USI, he led the Global Risk Management function for The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company. In that role, Craig was responsible for Goodyear’s global risk management programs, including the operations of Goodyear’s captive insurance company and managing several high exposure property and casualty claims. Prior to joining Goodyear, Craig served as the Director of Risk Management & Insurance for Applied Industrial Technologies; spent a decade with and grew his career at Eaton Corporation; worked as an Assistant Vice President and Alternative Risk Consultant at Marsh; and served as a Pricing Analyst/Actuary at Progressive Insurance. Craig earned his bachelor’s degree and MBA in finance from John Carroll University in University Heights, Ohio, where he is now an Adjunct Professor of Finance teaching course work in Finance and Insurance & Risk Management. Additionally, he has served on the Board of several youth related non-profit organizations and community development corporations. Craig also Chairs the Advisory Board for the University of Akron’s Risk Management & Insurance Program. Craig was named a Risk Management All-Star in 2018 by Risk & Insurance Magazine for his work helping Goodyear recover from the effects of Hurricane Harvey.
