The 30-Year Building Recertification Program, 25-Year Building Safety Inspection Program (BSIP), Milestone Phase I & II, Structural Integrity Reserve Study (SIRS), in Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach Counties is a crucial initiative designed to ensure the safety, structural integrity, and compliance of older buildings, particularly in urban areas. Under these program, buildings that are over 25 years must undergo a comprehensive safety inspection to assess the condition of critical systems, including structural elements, electrical systems, electrical thermography and fire safety features. The goal is to identify potential hazards, prevent accidents, and ensure that buildings remain safe for occupants and the surrounding community.
