I have responsibility for setting up and operating all Subsea Controls equipment whilst offshore during IWOCS operations, and onshore for pre-mobilisation maintenance or Site Integration Tests (SIT\'s). Onshore duties Include:* Inspection/Repair/Function Test of Umbilical Reelers, Hydraulic Power Units (HPU\'s) and Mini Control Panels.* Flush and Pressure Test hydraulic lines using Flushing Skids and Chart Recorders.* Clean hydraulic fluid and test using Comparison Slide and Microscope or PALL to ensure minimum standard of NAS 1638, Class 6.* Repair/replace/maintain all valves, gauges, fittings, pipes/hoses, bearings, etc.* Carry out function tests and participate in client SIT\'s prior to mobilising kit offshore.Offshore duties Include:* Position and operate all equipment relating to task as per client specifications.* Connect HPU/Mini Panels to 3rd Party Tools such as Landing String, Running Tools and Xmas Trees, etc. using Deck Jumpers and Flying Leads with either open lines or Stab/Flushing Plates.* Run Umbilical Reelers during subsea operations.* Function hydraulically operated valves, ensuring correct system pressures and fluid usage for each by monitoring gauges and flow meters, and recording all operations on a running log.* Carry out Safety Critical Pressure Tests against barrier valves at predetermined stages throughout the Completions phase.* Ensure critical safety valve pressures are monitored and maintained at all times, such as Subsea Safety Valve Hole Safety Valve (DHSV).* Allow access for Wireline/Slickline and Well Test operations through correct valve functioning when Running In Hole (RIH) or testing/sampling payload during Completions.* Run Protective Structures for positioning on seabed.* Connect HPU/Reeler(s) to Running Tool/Xmas Tree for deploying and functioning subsea.* Carry out Xmas Tree retrieval from subsea if necessary.* Submit Daily Reports to onshore management for task progression.
