About Craig Richards

42 years of experience that includes 11 years of retail experience before moving to Costco. This eventually led into starting and helping build Costco\'s Produce Department. Costco experiences covered not only the start up but, includes distribution logistics and buying. Buying includes the set up of global purchasing as well. My current position involved setting up and developing produce operations for Costco. In the last year I have added Food Service to my resume and it is a joy to be involved with! For anybody that is a foody or involved with food it is fascinating! Two years ago I added Service Deli Operations to my experiences. The Food Safety aspect of Deli and Food Service have taught me a great deal about what goes on behind the scenes to keep our food safe for consumers.
