ABOUT CRAIG PARRY
Craig is a Chartered Engineering Geologist working in Atkins Ground Engineering team. He has worked on a range of large and small-scale projects for the energy, water, highways and development sectors. His currents roles include task lead and/or project manager for major geohazard led highways projects and geohazard assessments for highways and forestry. Craig leads the Ground Engineering and Tunnelling drone service line working to maximise the data collected for geotechnical assessments of our sites. This often goes hand in hand with our rope access rock or soil slope inspections. Craig is an active member of the Atkins Engineering Geomorphology, Geohazards & Ground Modelling, Geotechnical Data Management, Digital Ground Engineering, and Ground Investigation & Classification technical authorities where he is helping to build on Atkins digital capabilities through development of digital site data collection and modelling tools.Specialties:Ground investigation planning and supervision, OpenGround, photogrammetry, Quantum GIS for engineering geology outputs, soil & rock logging, interpretative report writing, geomorphological mapping and earthwork supervision
