The beginning of my career focused on process engineering in various departments within the Covington Mill, one of the largest and most complex paper mills in the world. During this time, I drove change and process improvements in numerous projects and initiatives, which resulted in significant advances in financial performance, productivity, quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.My career has now transitioned to leadership roles with increasing responsibility. These include positions as Superintendent, Production Manager - Fiber, Power, and Recovery, Production Manager, Operations Manager, and now General Manager at the Roanoke Rapids mill, responsible for the entire mill complex. During my time as Production Manager at Covington, I led the implementation of a mill transformation that resulted in an improvement in EBITDA and record-setting improvements in process availability, reliability, and safety.I have also served in several community leadership roles. These include the Alleghany Highlands Chamber of Commerce Board and Executive Board, the Alleghany County School Board, the Jackson River Technical Center Joint Board of Control, and the Alleghany Highlands Economic Development Corporation Board.
