Provides overall project management direction by establishing project objectives, policies, procedures and performance standards. Monitors and controls construction by working with on-site Superintendent to ensure project is constructed in accordance with design, scope, budget and schedule. Plans, organizes and staffs key field positions. Is proficient in estimating, document control, scheduling, coordinating, and supervising project personnel and their work activities. Ensures onsite personnel comply with project procedure, safety program requirements and work rules. Supervises project personnel and/or other contractors as required by contract. Provides technical assistance, i.e. interpretation of drawings, recommending construction methods, reviews constructability and equipment requirements as necessary. Is also responsible for interfacing with client representatives, AE representatives and other contacts.
