My role in Cummins India involves the following responsibilities-1. Understand the business requirement for freshers from the Plant HRs and plan the hiring of college diploma freshers for the various plants across the country2. Conducting the in-take meetings with the hiring managers and Plant HR to specify the hiring plan, timelines, and stakeholder responsibilities3. Coordinate the interview process and ensure the due process is followed4. Conduct the HR Interviews for the screened candidates5. Monitor the progress and closure of all processes in the hiring plan6. Overseeing and planning the collection and verification of all documents from the selected candidates and plan the next stages in the hiring process7. Getting all the approvals and medical recommendations in place to onboard the candidates as per agreed schedule8. Conducting engagements and Q&A sessions for the selected candidates with the respective plant HR teams9. Releasing the offers to the candidates and providing them all necessary support till the onboarding is completed10. Updating the candidate tracking system (Oracle Cloud) with the candidates’ details and ensuring the trackers are up-to-date with all hiring data11. Initiating the background check for the joiners and closing the hiring process with the Hiring Manager12. Strategizing with all stakeholders to streamline the recruitment efforts & processes
