ABOUT CRAIG FAIRCLOUGH

I currently lead and manage a team of professionals (Occupational Hygienist, P.Eng, Ergonomist, Warehouse & Distribution Specialist, and OHS Generalist) in the central Ontario region to provide OHS solutions to customers. Prior this leadership role, I was a Consultant serving firms in the GTAA for over 25 years. Prior to consulting, I worked in industry for a large International transportation/distribution company as a Health, Safety and Compliance Supervisor. Before working in the private sector, I was with the municipal government for three and a half years in the position of Health and Safety Officer. I have also taught at the University of Toronto in the School of Continuing Studies and currently teach a variety of courses at Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU) formerly Ryerson University in the School of Occupational and Public Health, Faculty of Community Services, the Chang School of Continuing Studies. My educational background includes a Bachelor of Science Degree from TMU in Environmental Health; majoring in Occupational Health and Safety with a minor degree in Public Administration. I also received a Masters Degree in Occupational Health from the Faculty of Medicine at McGill University and a Certificate in Human Resource Management from Humber College. I hold a variety of professional designations including, Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP), Certified Human Resource Professional (CHRP), Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) and Registered Occupational Hygienist (ROH).
