ABOUT CRAIG DOUGLAS

Has experience as a Principal Designer on both Housing Developments and on MOD site Radar upgrades. NEBOSH Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety and FPA Fire Risk Assessment and Fire Safety Management Certificate. Has passed Internal Environmental Auditor ISO 14001 and Internal Auditor\'s course ISO/TS 16949. I am an IOSH trainer delivering courses throughout the UK and have created a several courses, one of which has been approved by IOSH. I am Radiation Protection Supervisor trained and have advised on control measures to reduce the exposure to various radiating sources. I work well in teams and as a leader with a proven record of leading groups in Outdoor Pursuit activities such as Kayaking and Mountaineering. Useful in my work is a basic knowledge of the Arabic language which I learnt whilst in the Forces. In the arid, northern Kurdish region of Iraq, my CIMA (Mine Awareness Adviser Course) comes in useful; as is my knowledge of UXO. I may also call upon my knowledge of Crater Analysis as well as Shell fragmentation analysis.I run an online Magazine - Close 2TheBone - for short, fiction. Our aim is to give voice to authors out there and promote talent when we see it. I also direct a publishing company that has produced over 54 titles in both paperback and in digital.I am the author of \'Fire Mission - The Diary of a Firing Sergeant in Afghanistan\'. I have converted over 50 published books. I format and convert work for Amazon and Barnes & Noble.Has published five short stories in the following anthologies:Radgepacket Series 2, 4, 5 & 6The Harsh and the Heart - Celebrating the military.
