ABOUT CRAIG DOOTSON

I am a former professional and semi professional goalkeeper with over 25 years of experience in the game, having played more than 350 senior matches across the English football pyramid. I spent 15 years working with hard to reach and often disadvantaged young people, and 7 years working in the private education sector.Since retiring from playing, I transitioned into coaching and football operations, bringing the same dedication, leadership, and high-performance mindset that shaped my career. Following my time on the pitch, I developed extensive experience in coaching and performance environments, working with clubs including Liverpool FC Women, Tranmere Rovers, Salford City, and Leeds United. In recent years, I have moved into senior leadership roles within football clubs, focusing on operations, strategic development, and organisational growth. My experience across playing, coaching, and executive management gives me a unique perspective on how clubs operate both on and off the field.I’m passionate about building strong football organisations, and helping clubs create sustainable success through effective leadership, collaboration, and a clear long-term vision.If you’re not passionate about what you do, you can’t influence change.
