Within Chubb Risk Engineering Services my position is Risk Engineering Services, Equipment Breakdown center of Excellence Leader. Responsible for Equipment Breakdown strategy and the National Board AIA(authorized Inspection agency ) NB-369 Program. Responsible for the technical oversight, guideline development and quality control of Equipment Breakdown Risk Engineering. My core background is Equipment Breakdown related and includes property and casualty skill sets. I provide Risk Engineering leadership on Equipment Breakdown related risks. Develop Risk Engineering strategies and assist in developing the underwriting strategies. I work throughout North America and provide leadership to Chubb Risk Engineering. I use my prior experiences in the heavy industries to provide Risk Engineering and underwriting guidance on larger complex risks across NA. Additionally, I provide training for all levels of Risk Engineering personnel, from entry level boiler inspectors to senior staff members. I have several levels of deep expertise that have enabled the success of my career. I am a student of the insurance business, with excellent working knowledge of insurance operations. I am an accomplished National Board Boiler inspector with a deep level of code knowledge. I have significant training in power generation, from turbines to transformers that provides practical knowledge that enables me to aid my customers. Spending the majority of my insurance career in the steel mill areas, I have been formally trained on metal operations, press work, paper making, rubber mills and almost any other high risk equipment exposures. I am a qualified and experienced trainer, with a gift for helping others understand difficult processes and exposures.I enjoy my position and I am passionate about excellence. I have a thirst for knowledge and I enjoy figuring things out. I strongly believe the old saying, when you stop learning, you start dying.
