I have 40 years of extensive experience in managing asbestos and safety issues - from identifying a concern, through the process of bidding the abatement, reviewing budgets, prioritizing the control and mitigation options, overseeing the abatement project, ensuring regulatory compliance by all parties involved, and overseeing the repairs/replacements of damaged substrates and equipment from which the concern originated. I also have extensive experience in implementing and designing control mitigation measures to prevent hazard exposures on renovation projects. I enjoy being a team leader and given challenging opportunities to address asbestos and safety issues that occur before, during, and after incidental disturbances, unplanned releases, improper abatement work, or planned projects that take place in the vicinity of ACM or may create a safety concern. My experience in safety, training, and knowledge of hazardous materials, risk management, and six sigma, my history as working as both a consultant and for a property owner, add to the overall detail and efficiency of projects that I manage.Through my volunteer activities, I use my skills in giving prepared presentations to colleagues and stakeholders; use Microsoft Office to communicate information and reports and AutoCAD to design work area locations and special activities.As a consultant for many years, I understand the urgency, sensitivity, and needs of the customer.
