   Windows AI Platform • Developed product roadmap for DirectML, the high performance and hardware agnostic acceleration API for machine learning (ML) in Windows, enabling inference scenarios across 1B+ Windows devices. • Improved DirectML inference performance by 3x through co-engineering with AMD, Intel, NVIDIA, and Qualcomm. • Expanded DirectML to support ML training in TensorFlow and PyTorch across GPU vendors resulting in strategic hardware optionality for Microsoft products and increase in monthly active device usage. • Created product strategy to reach data scientists, a net new line of business and customer segment for Windows. • Landed a partnership with HP bringing the best of Windows productivity and Linux ML tools together on their specialized Windows data science workstations by preloading the Windows Subsystem for Linux (WSL). • Facilitated the education and initial implementation of Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) for the team. • Acted as interim people manager for 6 months furthering our team culture, providing support and mentorship through regular 1:1 conversations, and facilitating team wide goal setting. • Managed interns over 2 summers, both accepted full time offers and provided positive manager feedback.
