About Cody Patrick Zane
I have 10+ years in Textiles and Lab experience in which I want to leverage to assist companies with bridging the gap between the technical information they create to their non-technical clients, collaborators, suppliers, or donors. I have spent the last five years focused on personal protective equipment (HAZMAT, facemasks, firefighter gear) and materials and standards development, utilizing analytical chemistry. However, I am easily adaptable to other parts of the Textiles Industry with 10+ years of education in textiles including dyeing/coloration, color measurement, knitting/weaving constructions, and fiber/fabric identification. During the past 10 years, I have lead multiple application-based projects. The outcomes have been utilized by multiple organizations to change how those organizations run. I learned that the best way to lead was not to strictly to delegate but to work \"in the trenches\" with those I am leading. Together, we would find the answers and be a stronger unit because of this and lead me to enjoy the process of mentoring.
