BUSINESS CONTINUITY MANANAGEMENT Calvin Washington is the Director of Business Continuity / Crisis Management for Mercedes-Benz Financial Services Americas Region. In collaboration with Daimler Security, IT Security and the regional business units, the AMS BCM team plays an integral role in the creation, communication and publication of the MBFS Business Continuity, Crisis and Emergency Management initiatives through multiple platforms. The MBFS Business Continuity Management team plays a vital role in the sustainability strategy by developing risk mitigation programs throughout the AMS region tailored to the individual country business needs / laws. My AMS BCM team is responsible for the creation and maintenance for over 150 Business Impact Analysis throughout the AMS region, Singapore and Thailand. In his previous role, Calvin led the Daimler Business Practices Office (BPO) AMS team. In this position, he was responsible for assessing and assigning all internal investigations throughout the AMS Region. Allegations are reported anonymously through the international BPO hotline an initiative developed by Calvin for the AMS region that was quickly adopted globally. He brings more than 30 years of experience in the automotive finance industry to his current post, experienced leader following areas: collections / customer service, retail / leasing financing, wholesale finance, internal investigations, Corporate Audit, HR Compliance, Facilitation, Crisis Management and Business Continuity. Calvin has a BS degree in Business Administration from Fairmont State University and he holds multiple career related certifications – Certified Functional Continuity Planner (CFCP), Association of Certified Fraud Investigators (ACFE), and Certified Financial Crimes Investigator (CFCI). He also serves as a member of Fort Worth Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) and on the Board of Directors for the Keller Youth Association (KYA), VP of Youth Basketball.
