About Cynthia Perrine

Leveraging nonprofit leadership and organizational development successes, engaging communities and partners through productive, efficient, and effective planning to amplify project outcomes, I guide business operations, staffing, reporting, investments, and fundraising for long-term organization sustainability. Currently conserving private lands in Northern California, my passion is facilitating and strengthening authentic connections within a natural resources network. I hold an MBA in leading organizations, building on the foundation of scientific academics in ecology and natural resources management, with Certifications of Nonprofit Professional (CNP) recognizing nonprofit business acumen, and Wildlife Biologist (CWB) quantifying coursework and professional experience managing wildlife and their habitats. Prior programs remain financially self-sustaining beyond my tenure, and contemporaneously foster dialogue, collaboration, and education within communities and affiliations of natural resource professionals, students, policy makers, and the public. Each promotes collaborative stewardship to support a broad-based conservation community, and to connect the public to resources and spaces for exploring, making observations, and collecting data to share natural environment and natural resource topics of interest. The Certified Nonprofit Professional or CNP is the only national nonprofit management credential in the U.S. Earners of this credential have successfully completed a rigorous leadership development program that includes assessed coursework and applied learning opportunities, such as internships, consulting projects, and service-learning activities. Research shows that CNPs have the critical skills and networks necessary for successful leadership in the nonprofit sector.
