ABOUT CAITLIN ROBINSON
Design research leader with 10+ years’ experience shaping innovative products, services, and experiences across global industries and markets. With a PhD in Social Anthropology, I bring deep ethnographic expertise and mixed-methods insight to inform the end-to-end design and innovation process. Leading complex research and experience programmes spanning healthcare, financial services, telecoms, government, and consumer brands, I focus on translating human understanding into strategic impact and commercial viability. Working within cross-functional teams, I lead with a passion for collaborative problem solving, creativity, play, and empathy. At its heart, my work explores how applied anthropology and strategic design and innovation can be combined to drive commercial success while also creating better outcomes for people and planet. I extend this ethos outside of work, getting involved in climate-focused design initiatives, therapeutic counselling training, and community-led social impact volunteering.
