ABOUT GAVIN COX

My name is Gavin Cox and I am the Branch Manager at A-Plan Insurance’s Aylesbury Office. I have spent my entire career working in insurance. I understand what people want and expect when they are looking for insurance for their homes, for their cars and to help them to safeguard themselves and their families for the future. Today, some people buy insurance over the internet, but my experience has taught me that many people value the opportunity to discuss their insurance needs with a knowledgeable person. People are often keen to learn about the different options available to them and to talk to someone who is interested in helping them to get the right insurance at a price they think is reasonable. I believe that my success is founded on my willingness to take a real interest in getting things right for clients. I am always happy to spend time talking to people to find out exactly what they want from their insurance. However, for me, the sale is not the end of the relationship. I will always revisit the way I have managed an interaction and ask myself if I could have served the client better, and if there is anything I can do to help my clients further. My approach works. Throughout my time with A-Plan I have met, or exceeded, all my sales targets. I was promoted to the role of branch manager with only seven years’ experience in our industry, when most people aiming for a management role take ten years to become the manager of their own branch. I believe that one of the reasons why I have been so successful is that I consistently meet clients’ needs and expectations. It is important to me to offer great customer service as well as offering competitive quotations.
