ABOUT COURTNEY TURTURICE
I obtained a Master in Business Management degree and a Juris Doctorate may be in my future. I have 13+ years of security experience, with 5+ years in leadership (including senior leadership). Currently, I lead a global security operations center that operates 24/7, managing to surpass both personal and professional objectives. Our team provides support to over members spread across 120+ locations. Our primary focus lies in ensuring the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of our team members, making us the primary point of contact for all security and safety-related matters. Our responsibilities encompass a wide range of tasks, including alarm monitoring, camera surveillance, crisis management, handling medical emergencies, and monitoring social media. Additionally, I lead the Investigations team, serving as a bridge between private and public entities. This team is involved in both internal and external investigations, collaborating closely with law enforcement agencies.Furthermore, I head the Intelligence team, which conducts in-depth open-source research to support various business areas within our organization. The data gathered is instrumental in aiding effective decision-making across different departments. Proactively, we monitor for potential security threats and risks associated with our assets and events.Navigating the challenges of leadership in this dynamic environment is both demanding and fulfilling. One aspect I particularly enjoy is fostering the development of team members and witnessing their growth, both as individuals and as a collective force. As a recent home buyer, home improvement projects keep me busy, along with my fur children. I love to travel and use the experience(s) to make an impact wherever I can. Challenges and opportunities thrill me.I am committed to making a difference in the lives of others through innovation, compassion, guidance and dedication. Primarily, I am interested in equality, leadership, criminal justice reform, animal care, civil rights and non-profit organizations.Let’s connect to change the world how we see it!
