ABOUT COURTNEY ROBARE
Currently, I hold a position at the University of New Mexico Hospital as the Unit Based Educator in the Pediatric Emergency Department, where I started in March 2025. In the past, I worked for 2.5 years in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at UNM and for almost 4 years in the Pediatric Emergency Department at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. In the PED, I was also a Staff Leader (Charge Nurse) and a member of our Specialized Trauma and Critical Care (STACC) team where I provided education regarding pediatric trauma and other topics at our Level I pediatric trauma facility. I also led our unit’s Resiliency Group and was the team leader of our Sedation Audit Team. My interests include research, community outreach, and leadership roles that allow me to further my passion for pediatric critical care and trauma.
