ABOUT COURTNEY LUZARRAGA
My professional career has taken a lot of twists and turns. I began in digital marketing following my graduation from James Madison University where I learned web design. I pounded the pavement selling internet and cable packages door-to-door, learning brutal resiliency. I transitioned into working as an Implementation Specialist helping clients get set up with software, learning about customer success. I began training clients directly and then got into content writing, learning Instructional Design is my passion.I knew my favorite part of all my jobs was learning and teaching. I love taking complex concepts, breaking them down, and putting them in a format that makes sense. I get excited when it comes time to brainstorm for education needs, from learning objectives to new industry practices. Course creation gets me going! I bring excitement and thoughtfully crafted messaging to my work. I challenge the status quo creating content that breaks expectations and brings a level of fun to standard education practices. My unique voice bleeds into my work, allowing me to think outside of the box in my approach to learning. I recently made a pretty big move from Chicago to sunny San Diego, driving 30+ hours with my partner and Bearded Dragon, Chef Gordon Ramsay.
