Currently working as an independent Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant in which I am the primary provider for my patients. These locations provide a wide variety of acuity, including critical care and trauma patients. Current job duties include-Rotation through Main Emergency Department, Express Care, Pediatric Emergency Department, and Triage-Perform history and physical examinations on both adult and pediatric patients-Order appropriate diagnostic laboratory and radiologic testing, and interpretation of these results-Develop appropriate differential diagnoses, treatment plans, and dispositions for patients-Consultations with specialists and hospitalists to form appropriate treatment plans for patients-Perform multiple procedures, including suturing, incision and drainage, fracture and dislocation reduction, nerve blocks, splinting, pelvic examinations, slit lamp examinations and intubation.
